Martha Stewart popularized sugar-coated fruits for a great and easy Christmas snack when she put them on the cover of her magazine. The technique is simple and anyone can do it. Here's how: 1. Brush strawberries, grapes, pears, etc. with a very light corn syrup. A pastry brush works best for this job. 2. Roll the fruit in granulated sugar, place on waxed paper and keep refrigerated until dry. 3. Use small fruits for granishing cakes and pies or display large groups of them in glass bowls for a great centerpiece.
