Birthdays on Christmas Day

Christmas can be kind of tough on a child whose birthday is December 25th. They can feel left out, like all the attention is going to the other birthday that is celebrated that day. If your child's birthday is on Christmas Day, try this to make their birthday special. Celebrate Christmas in the morning and afternoon. Set aside a special time that evening especially for your child and his birthday party. Try going out to a special place for the birthday party, such as Pizza Hut, McDonald's or a family game center. That way, you will be away from all the Christmas decorations at home and your child will feel like all the attention is on him. This is nice for adults, as well, although most adults don't put as much emphasis on their birthday as children do.
