March 31, 2006, Newsletter Issue #109: Fun Christmas Songs - White Christmas

Tip of the Week

Here are some of your favorite fun Christmas songs: Bing Crosby´s White Christmas was one of his most requested songs when he entertained troops in Europe during WWII. He oftened tried to cut it out of the show because the song invariably led to such sadness and homesickness. The men shouted for it so often that Bing was always forced to include it.

WHITE CHRISTMAS
BY Irving Berlin 1942
I´m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I´m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.

I´m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.
