How can I organize a Christmas craft party?

Set aside a Saturday in early December to gather friends together to make holiday crafts. Have each participant bring along instructions and enough supplies for everyone to complete their chosen project. Or, if you'd like to try this for a kid's party, let an adult supervise. For simplicity, select one simple craft project so all of the children make the same thing. Have them make their own Christmas party decorations too.
