Instead of just tossing out your Christmas tree come January, why not redecorate it with edible Christmas tree ornaments for the birds? An environmentally friendly project that will teach your kids about our responsibility to nature. What you'll need: Slices of bread Cookie cutters Peanut butter Bird seed String for hanging Cut bread with cookie cutters, poke a hole in the top and bake in 250 degree oven until crisp. Remove and allow to cool. Tie string through top for hanging, spead with peanut butter and sprinkle with bird seed. Make several and hang them all over your discarded tree. Place the tree near a window and enjoy a winter birds-eye view!
