September 10, 2010, Newsletter Issue #252: Homemade Christmas Party Invitations

Tip of the Week

This idea came from a recent picnic invitation. Make your own Christmas invitations. Use colored ink (red and green for the holidays), or festively printed holiday paper. Write information beyond the standard date, time, etc., on the Christmas invitation. For example, the picnic invitation included information on a "grand, smokeless and slightly mystical campfire." Get creative, and have fun! Make the Christmas party invitations as serious or lighthearted as you want. Homemade Christmas invitations will pique the interest of your guests and will make a great reminder of your party, not to mention your Christmas decorations will add a nice, special touch.
